A slicker, more refined version of Cóndor where the transitions between folky acoustic passages and death / doom metal is less jarring.
Still raw but more digestible which allows their weird magic to operate more effectively here. El_Cuervo

Purposeful, this LP’s metal consists primarily of low-to-mid-paced riffs from doom, DM, & BM. These are complemented by influences from prog-rock, in which tonal contrasts add nuance & a way of connecting parts within the album. Everything is structured with meticulous care, avoiding the wild-blend sensation that seems at best pretentious & at worst aimless. Guided by low-pitched vocals that provide a sturdy musical framework & continuity, Condor has produced metal that is very beautiful! Wow. xhrl_

This album takes some effort to appreciate at first, but you'll be more than pleased if you make that effort. Buy it if you want an album that you'll enjoy for many years to come. One of the best things I've gotten into in a long time personally and I'm looking forward to more from these guys. VileEffigy
